However, it was the merger between AVG and Avast that laid the foundation for this success story. Two major players in the online security sector came together in a complex but inspiring merger. As a member of the AVG management team and later as Global Head of HR for the combined group, I played a pivotal role in bringing these organizations together.<\/p>\n<p>The new management team successfully realized synergies that neither company could have achieved independently. This (pre- and post-) integration process took five intensive years, marked by hard work and the satisfaction of shaping this transformation.
